1. Overview
CC-PCF901 is Honeywell CF9 series 9-port dedicated control firewall module for Experion PKS C300 DCS, mounted on matching CC-TFB401 CF9 IOTA terminal base. It builds a hard security boundary between real-time control FTE network and plant supervisory office LAN, different from general IT software firewalls. It adopts hardware wire-speed packet filtering, only allows authorized Experion control communication packets to pass, blocks broadcast storms, malicious flood traffic and unauthorized cross-layer access, fully guaranteeing deterministic low-latency control communication. Equipped with 9 FTE RJ45 ports: 1 uplink port to upper FTE switch, 8 downlink ports for C300 controllers, I/O communication modules and local cabinet FTE devices. Supports redundant dual firewall deployment for high-availability control systems, hot-swap maintenance, G3 conformal coating, widely used in power, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical and water treatment critical process control networks.
